A forearm plank is not easy and therefore starters can only last a few minutes. Forearm plank strengthens the core by making the abdominal muscles strong. You are supposed to involve your hips, shoulders and back muscles when doing this compression exercise. Also, you are supposed to firm up your shoulder blades into your back during this compression exercise. It is advisable to ensure that your body is straight during this compression exercise.
A spinal twist is another exercise which is known to ease back pain. A lot of care needs to be taken when doing this exercise since it can be dangerous when done wrongly. It is an effective exercise for healing back pain when done correctly. A spinal twist is supposed to be done slowly especially if a person is a starter. Do not force your legs to the ground when exercising. If you are used to doing a spinal you can do it fast.
